We’re planning 3 public jams in different locations for spring 2012. Guest musicians (none of them drummers or percussionists) will join us on stage for a completely improvised set that will make you move…. First names are Bart Maris (trumpet & electronics – Flat Earth Society, ex-Think of One, …… many many many others) and Steven Van Gool (bass & voice – Campina Reggae, ex Wawadadakwa, …).

We’ll organise auditions on 6th and 13th of september. Send an e-mail to lkmtiv@gmail.com if you want to join our group. We’re mainly looking for good rocar/chocalhoplayers, but other good skills are always welcome. Your profile:

- good sense of rhythm & groove

- you like to perform and to fit smoothly into our choreographies

- you like to be part of a group of people, social skills are important

- you have enough time to invest: rehearsals on Tuesday, around 20/25 gigs a year.

- age: around mid-twenties

We kicked off summertime with Samba Al Pais (FR) and played some steaming sets at Vijverfestival & Schapenrock last weekend. Bruxelles-les-Bains and Le Grand Cirque du Balkan (NL) are next. In the meantime planning new recordings and brainstorming about a videoclip…

We’re back from our journey to Nègrepelisse. Great festival, great bands and some new friends. Check Kiriaka from Sweden, Houba from Montauban and Samba Ti Fol from Anglars. To be continued….

Yes, our brand new site is ready to rock!

At the moment we’re preparing everything to leave for Negrepélisse (FR). We’ll play @ Samba al Païs, where L’Occitan meets Brasil (and some Belgians). With the back catalogue of Moussu T & Lei Jovents in the car stereo, nothing can go wrong.
